INFANT AND CHILDREN'S CLASSES/CAMPS
MESSY ART One of the best things about art for kids is just the fun of getting messy. Spend each week with us making handprints, finger painting, making and shaping dough, doing marble art and just getting messy while creating a child's masterpiece. Explore the senses while mixing, squishing and squashing different art materials. Come dressed to get messy. Ready for the details...
EXPLORE: BUBBLES AND FOAM Create cloud bubbles, have fun with foams and make mud pies as you investigate different substances. Roll up your sleeves and get ready to make a mess. A participating adult must attend with each child (3 - 4 year olds) Four Tuesdays
EXPLORE: SCIENCE TOYS Learn about the properties of the physical world by inventing toys. Explore color mixing; and make a rainbow wand filled with incredible, super-absorbent crystals. Learn about gravity and inclines by constructing a marble runway, and invent your own recipe for play dough. Make a project to take home each week. A participating adult must attend with each child (3 - 4 year olds) Four Wednesdays
EXPLORE: PHYSICAL SCIENCE FOR CURIOUS KIDS Young scientists make kites, magnetic toys, and light circuits to take home as they experiment and share their observations on topics such as electricity, magnetism, and properties of air and light. These activities foster an intuitive framework for later science learning. (4 - 5 year olds) Four Fridays
MOMMY & ME PRESCHOOL It's never too early to learn the rhythms of school and what better way than in a comfortable and engaging environment with your child. Join us for Mommy (and Daddy) and me preschool where you will engage in circie time, singing, themed activities and storytime.
KIDS' NIGHT OUT Toss the kids in their pajamas, bring a pillow and blanket, and get ready for fun! Kids enjoy art, story time, pizza and snacks and fun games. Parents go take a break - see a movie, have a long dinner, or just relax. We'll see you at the end of the night. Second Friday and Fourth Wednesday of each month.
WINTER WONDERLAND CAMP Schools out and it's time to come play. Enjoy holiday art projects, singing, and play during school vacation with our afternoon winter camps. Make "snow", build a "snow" man, and let your imagination explore all the wonders of winter. Sign up for 1 afternoon or save by signing up for multiple afternoons. 3 - 6 year olds. 1 - 4pm 2009 DATES: December 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30
ADULT CLASSES
DROP-IN YOGA We invite you to take a break every Friday morning for an invigorating yoga work out. Meet other members and breath deeply as you finish the week with an hour of time just for you. On site childcare available. Namaste. Every Wednesday 10am
TIME TO WALK Join us on Thursdays at 9:15am for a 45 minute trail walk. We meet at Cubes&Crayons and head out. FREE. Infant and childcare available during the walk for $10/hr.
